Late-breaking News
Two weeks ago, all of the eighth grade sections had a Halloween costume contest. They were judged on participation and unity, so if a section had everyone dress up and they followed a theme, they did well. Below are (small) pictures of my two sections. The one on top dressed as different characters from "Alice and Wonderland." The one on bottom dressed in goth costumes. While young, innocent Peter (second from left) made a surprisingly convincing goth, and Kalcho (white ears popping up in back) defied his macho exterior to become a white, furry rabbit, it was really the unity of both classes that impressed me most. I write now simply because we just found out that Alice and her crew were the winners of the pizza party. Kudos to section 8-5! Can I have a slice? I mean, I did put up with over a half hour of arguing about your theme DURING class...

My favorite part of this endearing post was to have your perceptions of Kalcho and Peter.
